Topic: Close, but no ciger, Any development on the V5 engine.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Decided to try the V5 engine again last night, with various tweaks on my laptop made at home before my gig. I got it to hold at 80% signal, without any fluctuating, which is a improvement from the first time I played with it, but it's still not 100%, so I decide to run the night on the old engine. Didn't won't to risk it.

Could I ask whether any development of the V5 engine has been made, or any news on it, as there a few of us that would like to know and use it :)

Cheer's

It doesnt need to read 100% but at least 80%
Thats just a software indicator for how loud and clear the signal is read, but can have faults.

So what you need to test is how it operates ;) and not go by that % read only

the important part is not the % but the waves above the % read.
That they are stereo, and in phase. And built high and nice

Do you have your wireless connection disabled when you're using the v5 engine? I posted something last week about this interfering with the noise map and v5 engines in 5.1.....I never had any problems using the internet with the previous versions, came in handy when I needed a quick itune hit or something.

Also last night, hooked up my lappy to this guys numark tcv set up and played the night at a reggae concert using noise map...........I bet you there's going to be a few extra curious hits on this website today.

Sincerely yours

Right got it Rune, I thought of using last night when I had seen that I stopped it from fluctuating, but I decide against it after 2 tracks. May need to do some mixing at home for a few hour's to get my confidence in using it back.

I just wanted to know if the team is looking in to it.

we are ;)

thats why the v4 engine is still available (you can choose that now), and v5 is engine is still in progress.
We also added the use of noisemap (SSL vinyls) that works great now.

But v5 engine will be tuned further ;) no worries
