Topic: Skins download page

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Why is the skins download page listing skins by total number of downloads now instead of by number of stars or better yet by release date so we can actually tell when something new is out. I just don't get why this change was made to the page. I really don't care if the Titanium Max skin from version 2.02 is the most downloaded skin for VDJ and was last updated in 2004. I want to know what's out now.. for VDJ 5!!!

I feel the same way. Something should be done about this. Some of this skins are so old that they don't work
anymore.
 
There has been numerous requests for this, and I support them. A sort option should be
available, sort by date being the default one.
 
I agree, sort by date, stars, downloads.

And why not let users rate the skins, making the stars review system more reflective of users experiences.
 
I also second this opinion. I have had the same issue to try and identify what are the latest skins.

A sortable page, like the pluggins one, would probably be the best option.
 
There use to be an option to select sorting by date/downloads/etc... I don't know why it was taken out. I also agree that rating should be done by users.
 
I agree with everyone. The skins page is really hard to navigate as it is right now. Maybe the "old" skins can be archived as well as the new ones at least sorted by date again.
 
sure i read lately this is another on the "to do list" so we just have to try and sit here patiently, they have been busy guys, well so they tell us, lol, when they do get round to it i would like to see a skin size and when published/which version type system, but before they do i want the flags and icons sorted out first... which are more important for the evolution of man... lol
