Topic: How do you save a mix?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am a complete newb and I am just starting. I have two songs I want to mix and I want to know how to program one to play at a certain time and how to save my entire mix.

Just because I am registered as a no license user doesn't mean I have a cracked version.

well i wouldn't even use their recorder.
what i would do was use an external recorder (an MD recorder), or use a program like "total recorder"
just use one of your mixers line outs, and connect it to the MD recorder, or tape/CD recorder

thats how i record stuff. usually through the MD first though. so i can run it through an equalizer before it hits the computer.

if you want to use total recorder though (because you dont have a MD) you record in WAV format first, and then run it through a better sound proggy. (like adobe audition)

recording straight to MP3 is not the best...
