hello my name is Tim: i use a dual Tascam CD x1700 and i have virtual on my computer how can i control this program through my Equipment is their a place to get a hold of you Timecode CDs will this work for me or what do i have to go and buy. I am a mobile DJ trying to transition between CDs and digital midi. i want to be able to utilize the same controller and just maybe add a interface.

you need a soundcard with at least two stereo inputs (3 if you want to record the set while using timecode) and at two outputs to your mixer. you can download the timecode cd file for free at http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/cd.html

my Tascam cd-x1700 have midi hook up on back of my controller will i be able to use a midi interface on both channels of my controllers to use with virtual dj to control from my computer.

charlie this is a forum last i checked, so i would hope that a experianced dj, one like those in such forum would be better equiped to answer such question with every day djing. you could have just say you didn't know how or referred me else where. thank you............
