Topic: First Video Scratch Juggle

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So I'm putting together my new AV show and I'm finally getting to grips with DMC style juggling. This is my first recorded juggle scratch (bit of a tester). All I done was flip the video horizontally for the left deck...

Yes was done in VDJ... You can see the sub frames if you put the video anywhere in the middle (I wish there was a way of removing this)...

As for the plug in. I didn't actually use any I just flipped it for the left deck and made a new .mpg with it reveresed and the same audio. I also used the zoom transitition but because the tfader spends very little time in no mans land I may as well have used the scratch transition...

Just thinking about it now I suppose you could set the cross-fader to activate the video FX and put a flip horiz freeframe in there from resolume or something a like... Probably a more effecient way of doing things and good for live use maybe.

Also while on topic of juggling e.t.c. Is there a VDJ equivilant of instant doubles. This has helped no end with learning this kinda thing and would love to see this in VDJ's rel mode aswell?
