Topic: Monitor final output levels

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there a way to monitor the final output levels (including the microphone if you are using one) - particularly if you are broadcasting or recording the Virtual DJ output?

The Shoutcast plugin for Winamp has VU meters for the final mix which is really useful to tell if you have got the end-to-end levels right for broadcasting. I really miss this feature on V-DJ.

i use steinberg wavelab. just set it on the same input as vdj would use and as long as it's an asio connection, they can share it. i just open wavelab and open the record dialog and turn on the monitor. I dont usually record with it, just use the monitor to show me the levels... works quite well but tends to use cpu cycles so works on fast machines.

yes it works but it`s a bit around the corner.would be much better to have it in vdj direct:-)
