At my house we are going to have a new years party. The house is set up with intercom speakers, home theater and stereo speakers (in the living area). Needless to say music can be played throughout the house. It is set up so the main amp takes various inputs, and broadcasts primarily to the home theater system and secondarily to the intercom speakers and the secondary amp for the stereo speakers in the living area. We use an apple airport to broadcast itunes music to the primary amp from any computer in the house to the primary amp. That works fine. I bought a copy of airfoil for windows, which is supposed to broadcast any sound from your pc to the airport (not just itunes). First time i tried to use VDJ + Airfoil airfoil asked me to restart vdj, which i did. Then i started mixing music (delayed about one second) over the whole house's system. After i restarted the computer however when i open airfoil, and subsequently vdj, vdj starts then airfoil shuts itself off. Dude WTF!!!
If i cant get this to work ill be angry cause im gonna have to buy a 50ft cable to get my vdj machine directly into the amp. HELL P!

What rate are you broadcasting at? Try setting it to 96 kbs it might help.
