1) HOW COME WEN I SEARCH ONE OF MY FOLDERS IT SEARCHES ALL THE REST OF ME OTHER FOLDERS??
HOW CAN I STOP THAT??
2) COZ I HAVE BOUGHT MYSELF THE NEW NUMARK DMC 2 CONTROLLER? AND HAS NEW SOFTWARE?
BEFORE THAT I WAS USING THE HERCULES MK2 CONSOLE.
BASICALLY I WANT TO CUE MUSIC UP , THEN ORIGINALLY ON THE HERCULES MK2 U WOULD HOLD DOWN THE CUE BUTTON FOR IT TO PLAY AND WEN U WANT IT TO STOP YOU TAKE YOUR FINGER OFF?
HOW WOULD I DO IT ON THE NUMARK DMC CONTROLLER DNT WORK LOL??

first off, please dont write in CAPS, that is considered yelling and after reading on a computer for 14 hours a day, it hurts my eyes and head ;-)
now, im not sure you can disable deep searching. the intention is that it searches your whole library. but im sure a teamer can confirm that.
regarding your controller, you will have to modify the settings. im not familiar with the numark controller, but it uses midi. everything has a mapping. the function you want is called cue_stop. you will have to find the button and the function in the mapper which exists now and change it to cue_stop.
maybe someone who has this controller can help you with exact steps.

Well, you can try removing folders from search db (right-click on folder, remove from searchDB).
Also, when you searching, it separates that folder and everything else with horizontal bar - so the top portion is what it found in that folder, bottom is what it found everywhere else.
There's another horizontal bar for hot cue, or what-it's-called, at the bottom.
I believe this behavior is new to V5 and I personally love it.

The DMC 2 will do what you want, but you have to set a cue point, and have auto cue enabled in config>options.

just if your not sure
the dmc will only work in the Le version of cue or cue/vdj pro
you are eligible for an update to Le 5 , if you add your dmc serial :)
the controler can be used to place or return to two hot cues on each deck
just press the hot cue button to place one and again to return to it
