Is there a transition that works on VDJ like the one shown in the Serato Video demo? The one where you can cut instantly back and forth between video's on a scratch mixer? Are there any controllers that you can assign the video fader to a controlelr fader like on Numarks Total control or Vestax's VC-100?

Change the video transition to "scratch" and there are too many to list for controllers. There are a ton of threads on this subject so just do a quick search and you will get a ton of results and great reading.

M-Audio X-Session Pro
Those are the two I use and they work great. I also have an M-Audio Trigger Finger for DMX and other shortcuts.
It comes down to what you need to accomplish.
