How do I access the karoake function on mixstation 3? are there any plugins i have to download? Somebody please help?

you can use video and Karoake on home edition
but it is limited to a preview window only
go to options > video
and enable video
you will need to connect your external monitor / projector before running vdj
then on the vdj options you will see that you can choose windowed output as a home user
do this and you will get the video window , drag this onto the other monitor and enlarge it
then just load up a KJ file onto a deck
if you want to use full screen video and many other new improved featues in vdj pro you can upgrade at a
discount
