Topic: Virtual DJ Limited running on Vista with an ION iMX02 USB Mixer

Please help
I have just purchased all of the above kit but after installing everything and trying to run VDJ the error message:
'the controller has not been detected' comes up.

I have tried installing the Trial Version of VDJ which does seem to work although i can only get everything running through the one channel.

Has anyone got a solution fo that i can get my version of VDJ working, I have tried it all on an older pc running Windows XP Home SP2 and everything is fine.

normally the trial version has the option to use an external mixer locked. It is only unlocked once you've purchased the software, are you sure your not using a cracked version?

Thanks for coming back to me, the version I have bought is an original, which works on XP but doesnt see the controller when installed on Vista. The trial version downloaded from this site works on Vista with the mixer.

Obviously, what I am trying to acheive is to get my purchased version of VDJ Limited working on Vista.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

I cant seem to get my virtual dj limited running on my vista i have an ion imx02 mixer and have the cd with it desktop dj software version 1.3 but the same thing comes up THE CONTROLER HAS NOT BEEN DETECTED. please help
 
I have similar problem, bought the Ion iCJ01 mixer and vdj limited will not run, just get message "controler has not been detected". I downloaded the trial version which works fine but only for 20 days. I Tried on 3 PCs with Vista and XP but keep getting the same message! Any help much appreciated.

Tech support is available for the mixer, there is a slip in in all ION products with the contact details.

The lines will reopen at 9AM tomorrow.

Virtual DJ limited edition is a free software version provided by Atomix , it is not possible to register it online.

It does not support windows Vista.

It does however fully support XP, please ensure all USB cables are connected to your computer as the software will not run if the mixer is not detected.

There are many free alternative products you may wish to try.

Currently this mixer is stocked in Maplins in the UK for 39 pounds/ 56 dolars which is very good value.

The price of the package included the Mixer, headphones and a Microphone the software was included as a complimentary taster of Virtual DJ.

It is a very high quality Usb Mixer (previously valued at 120£) and can be used with any software product including the full version of Virtual DJ.
