Topic: I read somewhere that you cannot map midi to control effects, or it will crash..

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

is this true?? cause I want to get a midi controller to controll all the effects in VDJ...

Thats false info. The crash would not be linked to the midi at all. If anything it may possibly be a programming error in the source code of the plug-in effect which caused the crash. If there is a problem with a particular plugin effect it should be made known so the developer can fix.

There was indeed a problem with midi and effects in previous version (especially with NU04) but it was corrected in v4.2r1
