Topic: possible new laptop - advice needed-videocard

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

right, i purchased a new laptop in may 2006, and got what I thought was a fairly good video card, should do the job etc, anyhow its the nVidia GeForce Go 7300 w/Turbocache.
Obviously not good enough for video on vdj.
Now ive been thinkin of gttin a new laptop, but cant really spend over £800, but might go a bit higher if i can get something suitable for vdj video mixing.
Anyhow, has anyone got any advice or know of any good deals on decent laptops.
Maybe i'm asking for too much for £800, and if i am i will have to wait and save up.
If you can't think of a laptop under £800, then if you could post me the cheapest u can find, to do half decent video mixing.

Thanks

Adam

yes i've had a good look at your blog, its very useful, and that video cards post, the thing i'm aving problems with, is finding laptops with these cards.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good retailers for laptops with good video cars and decent prices.

Excellent info on the blog by the way skyfxl, what comptia courses are u doing? how much do they cost? i was thinking of doing something similar.

it might be better to choose a website/shop that lets you customise your laptop

then you can get the best features and prehaps it would be cheaper aslo :)

im doing compita A+ S+ N+

soon cisco

they usualy cost 600 each

but you can get them for 400 per pair at some collages :)
