I updated to 4.2 now VDJ does not recognize dac3??? It worked before...any ideas....

I guess that I don't understand all of these new features and such mean (sorry if they are obvious):


new HD mode for Timecode CDs ???

absolute mode fixed ???

adjustable auto-pitch sensitivity ???

new features:

virtualfolders automatically remove duplicates ???>>>>I'm not familiar with virtual folders

new query for plugins (maineffect*, mainsample*) ???

new action: timecode_mode ???

hi defination i guess

absolute mode fixed ???
had a small bug now fixed

adjustable auto-pitch sensitivity ???

you can adjust how sensitive the program is to changes in pitch on ur pc

if you add the same file twice its removed;)

new query for plugins (maineffect*, mainsample*) ???
main effect and samples , for more info look on keaboard shorcuts its all explained there :)

timecode mode chooses which mode ie smart ect

Might be that you did not have the DLL drivers in the
c:\Program Files\VirtualDJ\Plugins\ControlDevice folder.
You should get the new DAC-3 mapper from the website and install the DLL in that folder.

I have was running 4.1R2 and no issues, I just upgraded also and do not see any issues so far.

The DAC-3 now has its own separate tick box in the Remote Control tab of VDJ's config.

Make sure you tick the DAC-3 and untick DMC/DAC-2.

Yes I had the same problem, I was crapping myself as i'm on tonight, I IM'd jp and he saved saved the day for me. Thanks again Jonathan
