I have been reading arround various post and i can't find direct answer

In Addition to the ICDX Feature is it a direct replacement for an XP-10?

meaning:

Soundcard,
Controller: Access to software FX, looping, and Samples

Basically it will work in the same sense as an xp10 except that it has a cd/dvd drive you can play discs from and also it doesnt have a built in soundcard.
 
also, i don't see anything where I can map the buttons
 
So the outputs on the Back are for it's internal CD Player only.

that's correct.

Maybe there will be maper soon. Or maybe all buttons has defoult functions.
 
No mapper yet, but i'm sure there will be one very soon if needed.
