I ditched the U46DJ and am trying the presonus Firebox. I am having massive trouble having VDj work with it. The box did not say anything about ASIO but the guy at the store said they all are ASIO nowadays.
Int eh config in VDJ it sadi SIO next to soundcard
next to sound driver it did ssay Asio Presonus firebox
but ASIO config would not open and let me do anything.
is this my problem?
Anyone know if this external sound card will work with 4.0?

if at first you don't succeed you're obviously not chuck norris.
I have a firebox also but use it with Traktor......go to presonus website get tech support to email you list of optimizations.....implement them all.remember to turn off anti virus and your wireless connectivity first b4 installing.....
you can call tech support also.I of course NEVER have computer problems,I just glare at the screen,then it wimps out and fixes itself.In fact last time I was ticked off that's when plug n play happened.

My firebox came with software, including the asio driver. Check out presonus' website and they should have it available for download.
I got rid of my firebox because the music kept skipping and driving me nuts.
