HI,

Is there a person in the world that can help me to get clear sound (no pops, skips, etc.) and video using the U46DJ sound card with my laptop. Have tried every setting combination possible.

it is getting to closer to Friday night and I need serious tech help/

I have driver 1.1016 and everything works great when NOT using the U46Dj but I need it to use TCCD and the pioneer cd players.

What could possible be making this U46Dj sound card mess this up so bad?

Help and I will love you forever.

Have you tried the 1.08 pro beta drivers
i had the same problem and now all is fine.
set the latency to auto in vdj then go into the esi mixer window to set the latency for the card
link for drivers in hardware forum

I saw some link to the newest driver (1.018) but it needed a korean translation. Is this correct? It seemed weird.

If you could send me the correct link I'll try it again.

I did set the VDJ latency to "auto" but you lost me on the rest...

Go into the ESI mixer and do what? DO you mean the buffer settings? In my mixer, all I can do is slide the levels or hit m for mute. I have not seen a thing for latency in 1.1016. I hope I am missing something.

You lost me with "set the latency for the card link for drivers in hardware forum"

Hope you can further assist.

@ Hoffman

- Can you also check you usb, if it share irq with other hardware?
- If you use laptop turn off all powermanagement that interfare with the dataflow to usb

Also, turn off WiFi and other devices not needed... this is even recommended by the makers of soundcards. They interrupt often the flow of data to usb soundcards...

Go to hardware device manager in Windows, and disable devices not in use...
This will also free up IRQ's
