Believe it or not, the mp3s are the problem. I've used a program called legalsounds for awhile now for my mp3s, and until just recently they'd play fine and cause no issues. Now for some reason, i think it may be something to do with licensing the controls when playing them in vdj go choppy and respond slow only with the external controller. Nice to know that it isn't a hardware problem. Anybody else had issues with their external controller and bad mp3?
Ps. Don't get me wrong the mp3s play fine they just screw the controller.

thats propper weird, that they play fine but mess up the controller
are they mp3s tho? mp3s are prety simple with not many types and as far as i know VDJ handles them all perfectly anyway. MP3s dont have licences, DRM etc etc so thats probably not the problem. anyway mate best of luck, try re-encoding them and see if this solves the problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I didnt believe it myself at first either, i sorta stumbled onto the findings.
