I know i've brought this up before however i've narrowed where the problem lies with random choppy response from the external controller. I used to have massive problems after about 1hr of mixing where the vdj 4.0 controls would be choppy and the scratches would be super choppy and stuttery. What i've found is that vdj only exhibits the symptoms with the controller, not through the mouse controls (mouse scratching or crossfading). Another point of interest is when using the rotary speed on the djc mapper 4.0 once the chopps have set in they have no effect when either slowing the speed down or speeding it up, it always stays the same. The problem can be cleared by restarting the program and only occurs sometimes (i hate these phantom problems). Oh DJ norway it is not a memory leak i kept and eye on its resources and it stays at a reasonable level.

How long do you mix before it happens?
I've not encountered such things mixing with mk2, except for the headphone out.
(Happens only when minimizing and maximizing VDJ, doing MSN chats, at radio broadcast)'
Try to run Hercules powered with cord, or external hub.
Maybe its not getting all the power it needs
