You have your laptop which has VDJ on it.

If you have a Herc. DJ Console, MP3 Mixer, or MK2 Console
-you hook that up to USB on pc.
-hook up the console mixer to speaker w/speaker or stereo cables
or
-hook up the console mixer to another mixer-
--then to your speaker w/speaker or stereo cables

If not:

You need a Line In port on your laptop connected to speaker or mixer to speaker

or

If you don't have a line-in port on your laptop you need something with a line-in port i.e.
USB Soundcard
USB Mixer
PCMIA Soundcard w/ line out

That's just off the top of my head but, that's the main gist of it.

I have used VDJ with a Hercules DJ Console hooked up to my pc, and lined out to a mixer, and my monitor outed to a projector, and the mixer hooked up to two club speakers.

and that was actually before VDJ had the built in Video Mixer.

This user has AtomixMP3 and not VirtualDJ.

So with AtomixMP3, i'm not sure we can configure the sound to crossfade with an external mixer. But what you could do is use AtomixMP3 to do all the mixing, and connect the Master output of your soundcard to the amplifier in the club.

And if you want to upgrade your software VirtualDJ will offer alot more functions, and you have a reduction on the price here:
