Topic: please help recording from atomixmp3

when i record with atomix if i record for more than 4 hours then it carnt be played back it is corupt below this time it is fine is this a falt or can you just not have a wav file bigger than a size please help.

(atomixmp3 is all about mp3 why carnt it record in mp3 hhmmmmm)

you are talking about a 400mb mix

i dont know ...but the atomix must load ha huge file!!

try to change the wav ..for mp3 using other program

yer its a big file but i like to record a full gig so i can listern back to it to see if there was anything that didnt sound very good.
Im using a laptop with Amd 2400xp 1gb or ram and 30gb hard drive and 120gb external hard drive

it only seems to not work when the wav exceeds 1gb

I don't know what happened but I think atomix can't record over 1gb so I'm sorry

That may be a limitation of your OS not Atomixmp3. You may be able to record unlimited size files if you convert your drive space to NTFS. Of course this is only available in windows XP.

I'm just guessing here, but I ran into a similar problem using a fat 32 drive trying to capture video. It would only do a 4 gig capture, and I had 80 gigs available on the drive. As soon as I converted the drive to NTFS, I was able to capture up to 80 gigs at once.

but ithink you should try to use mp3 ..and your file are all ready on NTFS its a new machine right??...
i use musicmatch to convert wav into mp3 ...

whats the best converter ..from wav to mp3???
who knows??

im gonna try the 1g thing on my pc

its a athlon xp 2100 512ddr400mhz 250gb hd space

done ... no problems !! y don't know whats happening !!
i have 2 hard drives one is the 250g ..Ntfs y and the other is 20 gb its fat32 and nothing
and i dont have any idea of whats happening

I have a mixed track which contains 10 to 12 songs. I would like to add more songs to it, How do I add to it without having to re-record the entire track all over again just to add more songs? Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just re-load your 10 track mix onto one deck... then the next track you want to mix onto the other deck, start recording hit play. When it reaches the end of your first mix, mix away...
