I use MP3GAIN to set gain the same for all my mp3, the default is 89 db, is that enough or should be higher?
Cheers

All I can say is be careful ! I used that program to try to normalize all my mp3's and it didn't work. I had MP3's that were really loud and MP3's that were really quiet. Maybe I set something up wrong, all I know is I had to redo my whole music collection. I am kind of thankfull for that, before I had 128 bit rate mp3's now they are all 192. I find once you start playing with the normalization Atomix doesn't truly recognize the gain level.

I've done the same thing with my MP3s, at 89db. I haven't had any problems. After the gain is changed you'll need to have AtomixMP3 rescan your collection. AtomixMP3 still reports radically different gain when playing them, but it seemed more normalized to me and with the AutoGain option enabled, it's working well for me.

rename the "Atomixmp3 Internal Database" file in the atomix folder, a new one will be created
