Is there a program that allows you to convert existing PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP files into the VDJ Shader format?
I would like to integrate my own custom-created clips into VDJ Shaders.
In the past, there were Telly Media and Telly Visuals, which allowed you to use all these files very effectively in VDJ unfortunately, however, they are no longer available.

visuals plugin will play .mp4 once it's been named VIDEO and wrapped in a .vdjshader container [the AI videos are .mp4].
I was thinking about making an app to ffmpeg whatever source material to .mp4 and then do the .vdjshader wrapping.
I did ask the devs about the visuals plugin accepting other file formats, I got a 'it could' reply, which leaves me optimistic.

Agreed, it would be good if the visuals could somehow be combined or linked with the slideshow, enabling transitions to be used, timing adjusted, shuffling etc. rather than being restricted to one or the other.
Having the sampler be able to accept the wrapped "visuals" files too, so users could trigger specific shaders or AI clips directly from the pads like other formats.

Hi Locodog,
you wrote above "and wrapped in a vdjshader container"
How do you add a file to the shader container, so that it is integrated into the shaders and can then be used?
There is no input capability for shaders!

open a .vdjshader with 7z or whatever and you'll see.

Hi Locodog,
I opened a vdjshader file, but all I see are hieroglyphs. I don't know where I need to make changes!
I placed the file into the appropriate "Visualizations" directory—it shows up in VDJ, but I can't activate it.
I also edited the "shaderslist.xml" file, but nothing works.
What am I doing wrong?

open with 7zip, visuals that start with 'v_' are video based, inside you'll see the .xml that holds the metadata, the video.mp4 & the thumbnail.jpg

actual shader visuals of course don't have a .mp4, the have a .cso [Compiled Shader Object File]
