Hi! So I've got a really big show coming up and I've always used VDJ to export. Occasionally in the past I've had songs just decide to not load, have no waveform, or no cue points. I am not sure what the constant of this could be and it seems to be at random. I checked formats of encoder formats, tags, and file names to see if there's a common denominator but nothing as of yet.
Normally I just play around it because I HATE using Rekordbox. However I really need this gig to go well. So I've started checking my USB on Rekordbox after exporting to make sure it transfers correctly. But I've experiences random corruptions as i check the USB between exports and changes etc.
I eject my USBs properly and follow all the protocol but between all the above issues I was wanting to ask if anyone else had similar issues and they have solutions or methods to negate these kinds of things.

What do you mean by "corruptions"
Describe it better so that we can understand what you mean.
Then we can provide some possible causes.

When I plug into my laptop again and open RekordBox to check that the export went well, it's a gamble that it says the library is corrupted and needs to wipe the USB

I had this too although it was after ejecting from the AZ. I only had the controller a few days so will keep an eye on it. All the data could still be read in the controller, just not in Rekordbox on the PC.
From what I have read it seems to be quite a common problem.

are you safely eject the said drive the following video covers that
windows

Mac

XDJ-AZ
To safely eject a USB drive from the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ, press the [USB STOP] button located near the USB port, wait for the light to stop flashing, and then remove the drive. Never pull out the USB drive while the light is flashing, as this can corrupt your rekordbox data.

Yes, drive only removed when the light has stopped flashing.
As I said it's totally weird that Rekordbox on the PC says the drive is corrupted but it can still be read correctly in VDJ and also on the controller itself.

Yes I always safely eject with my PC and use an additional application to ensure it as well

Just did another export from VDJ then checked it out in RB, got the error again, if I say no, it still shows the error after I eject and reinsert. However, I've noticed if I do erase the library when it asks, the OneLibrary version is still in tact? Just not the regular library. Which sadly is what I'll need to use.
