i have a pair of xdj-1000mk2's. here are problems i am running into:
1. the only compatibility mode for CDJ export that reliably works is CDJ2000. to the best of my knowledge, the XDJ player i have is newer than the CDJ nexus, but when i export in that compatibility mode, the player doesn't detect a rekordbox database. the files show up, but not analyzed, and without a grid. same thing happens in CDJ400 mode, interestingly. it would be nice to know why this is; the manual provides no information at all about what the different compatibility modes do.
2. exporting with CDJ2000 mode works, but subfolders are empty (even with "include subfolders" selected in the export dialog).
3. it is annoying to have to export playlists one at a time. i use MyLibrary extension, and at least in that extension, there is no multi-select for playlists, and i can't export the whole "MyLists" folder at once.
4. deleting files from the USB (through the CDJ export folder in Local Music) causes hangs/crashes.
running the latest version of Tahoe and the latest VDJ version.

CDJ export with 'include subfolders' indeed had a bug for the old pioneer database. Will be fixed in next update.
As for the compatibility options, the only difference between these modes is which file types and samplerates are supported. If a file is exported in a different format or samplerate, it is converted first before copying.

FYI the CDJ-400 doesn't use any kind of database. It literally just scans connected storage for files every time. As it was one of the first CDJs to read from USB storage it's extremely basic.
