Hello. I got a problem: when i try to remap Shift+sync on Mixars Primo it simply won't work. Any function. Other "shift+" functions work just fine, sync button too but for some reason shift+sync won't do anything at all, even at factory mapping. Any help please?

We don't have the unit available to try and test, but according to our notes it should work
Are you using MAC or Windows ? Any chance you're using Windows 11 and your installation updated to MIDI 2.0 ?
If you want, you can use a MIDI tool like MIDI-OX and check what data the unit sends.
Press down SHIFT button. You should see 9F 00 7F on MIDI monitor.
Without releasing SHIFT, press the SYNC button on deck 1
Do you see any message ?
The expected behavior would be to see 90 02 7F when you press SYNC button down on deck 1
Then you should see 80 02 00 when you release SYNC and finally 8F 00 00 when you release SHIFT
Let us know if that's the case or not.

I downloaded midi monitor on mac but its giving me note data. So shift is interpreted as c-2, sync as d-2 and shift+sync as d#-2 if that helps. If not can you please direct me to the correct midi monitor app? Im using snoize midi monitor

Nevermind pervious post. I found app for raw midi data. So pressing Shift indeed gives 9f 00 7f
Pressing sync (without shift) gives 90 02 7f
Sync WITH shift gives 90 03 7f
lettin go sync gives 90 03 00
and lettin go shift gives 9f 00 00

Sync WITH shift gives 90 03 7f

and lettin go shift gives 9f 00 00
