Topic: build 9245 + Sc6000M, sudden and random desynchronization during mixing
It's been a while since I last used my two SC6000Ms with Virtual DJ, and yesterday I wanted to do a short session at home with this setup. I'm on the latest build, 9245, and I'm encountering a strange bug.

Currently, during a mix, the tracks seem to suddenly shift backward, completely desynchronizing the beatmatch, and the tracks become totally out of sync. This seems to happen on both players, whether quantize or sync is enabled or not. I have the impression that it occurs mainly when the motors are active. But I need to do some further testing to see if I also encounter this problem with the motor off.

It could also be related to the waveform display delay on the screens. I've always experienced some waveform display delays on the SC6000M screens after a while when the waveforms are too large (in deck + master or deck + other deck mode). To compensate for this, I either activate the sampler on the SC6000M's screen skin or switch to sub-deck mode in the settings. The waveforms are then much smaller on the screen, and I didn't have any problems in this mode.

Until now, this lag in the waveform scrolling speed on the screen compared to the audio had no impact on the audio and was purely visual.

It's possible that VDJ is trying to catch up all at once, which could cause this sudden lag after a while.

I still need to conduct further tests to determine the source of the problem. I don't know if this is specific to this build or if it was already present in previous builds, as it's been several builds since I last used the SC6000M with VDJ.

This might also be related to the recent Windows update issues, but disabling MIDI 2.0 in the latest build doesn't change anything in any case.

At this point, the SC6000Ms are completely unusable with VDJ.

Please note that I'm not experiencing any issues with the LC6000s, however.

I've had this happen to me, at least I think it's the same or similar thing as you're describing.

What happened to me just last Saturday was, about 3.5 hours into a 4 hour show, it seemed the skin started to lag. The controller controlled the sound just fine (no lag from the controller or sound) but the skin lagged. The beat grid lagged. The start/stop lagged. The lag is probably less than .5 seconds, but it's enough to throw off the visual part of my mixing. I've used it twice since then with no issues.

The same thing happened to me months ago as well. Both times, I uninstalled and reinstalled the video driver which, in my case, is the Intel ARC driver. Or whatever video driver your VDJ skin is using. That seemed to correct the issue.
