Topic: i am having issues with the PAD FX (cut 1/4bt, cut 1/2bt, cut 1bt) output sound like static not the actual effect
On virtual dj software LAYOUT PRO i am having issues with the pad fx cut 1/4bt , cut 1/2bt, and cut 1bt . it sounds like static instead of the effect. what is the setting to resolve the issue. I am using a DDJ-FLX4 controller.

look at the fx gui, likely you have the duty cycle on dial 2 way up [short duty] you want it in the middle for half on half off.
 
Dials look correct enough, does it sound right with effect_active with those settings? What are the scripts on your pads?

With PAD FX ACTIVE, pad #5 (CUT 1/4bt) not doing anything no effect whatsoever, pad #6 (CUT1/2bt) and pad #7 (CUT 1bt) when I press on it sounds like a static beat into 100% STR AND when Iet go it goes back again to the default parameters. Here is what I did based on the interpretation of your instructions, and by way It worked! The pads are working back again...!

I change the parameters from 100% to 80% on all three pads (5,6,7) . Thanks bro! I wouldn't be able to figure this one out without you. Thanks again!
