I have downloaded all the relevant links and transferred music through "share my music" from AMAZON to TIDAL, yet I still cannot access anything from TIDAL,I have also purchased the PRO/DJ extension aspect so as not to have any issues with licenses etc... my external HD is fully accessible.

I personally don't use Tidal at the moment, but there are many such users who communicate on this forum that do, including the devs.
Some things to note:
Double-check that you've followed the steps in the manual, and then check back here if you still have problems.

- Purchasing the Tidal DJ extension is not an optional thing "to be safe with licences", it is a requirement to use Tidal in all DJ software.
- AFAIK you're external drive doesn't really have anything to do with the streaming functionality
