Hi!
I'm a long time Deezer user and I haven't bought music in a while. I don't plan on doing paid gig so I'm fine with using online music. I'm running into problems while trying to batch tag my music.
1-The available tags in Deezer are not all imported. The year is available in the API . The genre is too, altough only at the album level. It would be much better than Discogs which seems to work about half the time for me. Is there a way to get this data simply?
2-I felt I should try a tagging software but I realized that they seem to all need the MP3 files in order to do autotagging. There are no files available with the Deezer integration which is normal. I guess the only info available about the tracks is in the database. I could parse the database to make a nice list of track but I wouldn't know what to do with it afterward to find the tags. (Apart for looking up each file individually in my Spotify or other musical providers). Anyone's been through that yet?
Thanks!

Thanks. It's a great tool but it seems impossible to enter song information as text only without the corresponding MP3 files. It also seems to be impossible to output the result in a single file, only in the MP3s themselves.

I don't know much about it and only started using it recently. It works for me especially setting the Gentre as all my database tunes are coloured roughly by Genre. Sorry if it didn't help.
