I recently tested the Device Library Plus and Cue Sync in the EA version, and it’s absolutely fantastic! Preparing sets without needing Rekordbox is finally becoming a real option.
However, I’d love to suggest a Sync Manager feature similar to what Rekordbox offers. The idea would be to define specific playlists that should always stay in sync. Then, as soon as a USB stick is plugged in, Virtual DJ would automatically match and update the tracks in those playlists—without requiring any manual action.
Additionally, playlist organization could be improved when exporting to a USB stick. Many DJs use structured playlist folders (e.g., a main folder like “Genres” containing sub-playlists such as 90s, 80s, EDM, Bigroom, etc.). It would be a huge improvement if entire folders, including all sub-playlists, could be exported in one step, rather than having to export each playlist individually multiple times.
If a full Sync Manager is too complex to implement right away, a good starting point could be allowing drag & drop functionality to copy entire playlist folders (with sub-playlists included) onto a USB stick.
This would significantly streamline the workflow for DJs using Virtual DJ as their main preparation software. I’d love to see this feature considered in future updates!
Thanks for your time and consideration.
