Topic: Setting BPM of video without audio for mixing audio only
When I DJ, I usually just use music videos from Xtendamix, but when I go into more trancey stuff, most is audio only. I have a bunch of seamless videos loops from VJGalaxy in MP4.

I'm using a 4 deck Denon Prime 4+ mixer and know I can set channels 1 and 4 for video which is epic and I can manually mix video on top of audio files. What I would like is the video files I'm playing to match the BPM of the main audio only track that is playing. Not all loops have a temp but most do.

I am using one MacBook Pro and open to software like Resolume Avenue, but that might be overkill. I don't need to do layering beyond transitions.

In VDJ, can I manually assign tempos to the videos so they sync properly?

If you place the VJ loops in the sampler, you can tell VDJ the BPM of each loop, and set the loop to sync with the decks.

Oh sweet. Does it remember the BPM for that file?

Yes, just type it into the BPM box (in the sample editor).

If you are using them on the decks, you can also just use the BPM editor directly to edit the bpm and phase, not really necessary to use the sampler in that case.
