Hello everyone.
Well before reading the next, I prefer to say that I already read all VirtualDj's manual for recording, saw all tutorial too. And try to read many topics but I really don't find something about my problem. And I'm sure it's easy.
My software doesn't want to find or accept a file where we need to put our record. I try everything and I don't understand why it doesn't want. On setting, inside recording section same if I click on the 3 points, impossible to select one file where I can put one mix.
Then impossible for me to record.
VirtualDj says only "No File Selected".
I understand this message but VirtualDj accept nothing.
Everything what I read say that is automatic or just need to select the access's way what we want.
I delete and install VirtualDJ 2023 but same. When I click on master’s button and after on “Rec” software open directly Windows Explorer but accept nothing.
If I record sample I don’t have a problem.
Same VirtualDj says that free version is done for recording
And it is not a problem of free space of my hardisk
Thank you very much for help me

name the file first, make sure there are no special characters, then select the file location. it will automatically assign the file extension you're recording to

Software really doesn't want take any files. I can select all files, when I select one and I click "record" on the bottom right side, nothing happen.
Really, I'm really lost ... LOL

Well
In fact, VirtualDj doesn't create a .mp3 file. We need to have one in first and select it to overwrite it by the recording.
In my case this my solution.
Then I copy one no matter which song inside one no matter which folder, I select my song and VirtualDj ask me if I wish to overwrite it. Just say "ok" and it's done, I can to record... Lol, it's strange for me this process.
