Topic: how to use youtube music as online music source
Hi there,

surely that question has been raised a lot of times, but not sure if in the meantime VDJ is able to connect to youtube music ?

Is there a real chance to get this in VDJ available?
I am only djing in private areas and do not want to pay only for VDJ online source.

Best regards, Uwe

I assume you mean the paid subscription platform YouTube Music?

The quick answer is no. That would require that they made an API for it
Generally if none of the big DJ platforms have an online option for a streaming service, it's because that streaming service hasn't build it on their end - or they have blocked it for DJ software (like Spotify did)

So currently VDJ has direct online audio integration for
- iDJPool
- Deezer
- Tidal
- SoundCloud
- Beatsource
- Beatport

One more option exists in the DJ world, which is Apple Music. But that requires a special decoding hardware chip to work, which currently only some Denon hardware have, so VDJ can't integrate with that

Thanxs for your answer, I feared that in some way

It is to expensive for me to buy that only for some sessions per year.

As I am a paing google user i will try to ask google when the will make that available :-)
