Topic: Learning how to scratch
hello guys Im trying to learn the tranform scratch. I have the ddj 400. What advice can you guys give me? Is there like a best settings for it the Crossfader or something like that?

i just use the default scratch settings smooth or full sometimes i use scratch.

It really doesn't matter which crossfader settings i choose right because its all about knowing how to do it?

It matters. To perform more intricate cuts, you need the fader to behave almost like a low travel on/off switch. Set the curve to scratch and save yourself the trouble as you are learning. When you get bettwr than it, then you can figure out how much smoothness you can get away with while still sounding smooth (but still, scratch curve is recommended)
