Hi there, thanks for the new stretch effect.
It gives a nice swing.
One problem: when using (f.i. 1 bar and 75%) the tuning of the song goes down.
Unfortunately it is a remarkable amount, so the song is really out of tune.
When mixing with other songs in the same key this sounds bad.
Maybe You can tweak the effect a bit to solve this.

As you know, this effect can be used to shuffle straight songs.
So You can convert "Dancing Queen" from Abba into a shuffle (also called swing or 6/8).
To do this, the button must be set to 1 and the slider to app. 80.
Now comes my suggestion for the developers:
It would be easy to program the opposite:
Straighten up shuffle songs like "Waterloo" from Abba.
The button again on 1 and the slider had to be at 120%.
(The stretch of the beatposition would be turned around,
first fasten up and than slow down, if You know, what I mean)
So the effect could be doubly useful.
Would this be possible?

I think you should just think of the new Stretch FX the FX as a replication on the one on some Pioneer hardware
VDJ already had a better "real" swing fx called "Swing IT" that you can get from under extensions

Thank You Klaus, „Swing it“ is not usable because of unstable tempo-behaviour.
I wait for necessary improvements since almost a year. (My last post there is from june 2022)
So „Stretch“ is all we got for now to handle shuffle/ deshuffle and groove manipulations.
By the way: With slider 2 at Position 4 it’s possible to transform 3/4 beat into 4/4. Slider 1 has to be at 66%
To transform 4/4 into 3/4 we need slider 1 at 74%.
The beatgrid of the song must have 4 beats per bar.
So You can play a waltz as a blues and put a drumloop under.
The pitch of the song stays almost stable by using „Length“ of 1 beat (slider 2)
With 4 beat- manipulations the pitch goes down remarkable…
