7122 - good

why don't you fixed the KEYso that it doesn't affect the scratch tone? or is it not a bug?

will anyone answer? This is considered a bug?

I think you already have another topic about that.

Anyway, changing the key will indeed also change the key while scratching, that is not a bug.

in the last topic did not respond and blocked the topic.

The problem is that the number of the key does not change.

For example, I take the track 10A, reduce the speed -50, the tonality again turns out to be 10A. If you do a scratch without turning on the KEY, then the sound will be like at speed 0. If you turn on the KEY, the sound changes to deaf, but the tonality is still reflected 10A the same!

Where is the logic if the same tonality is reflected, but the button KEY affects the sound.

When keylock is ON, then the track will stay in key regardless of tempo - that's the whole idea of keylock. It LOCKS the KEY.

If you turn keylock OFF, then the pitch/key of the track will be much lower if you reduce the tempo by 50%. That is also normal.

do not confuse - we're talking about scratch move.

The scratch sound should always be the same - this is manual sound control. The hand moves the wheel!

On real vinyl, the scratch sound doesn't change if the pitch is in different positions. If you hold the record with your hand, the pitch cannot move it, the record is in your hands. Therefore, the controller during the scratch must correctly emulate the behavior of vinyl.

Just look at how it works in stupid soft Serato - even there it was done correctly.

also tested MIXXX - logical and correct scratch sounds, does not depend on the key lock

Using master tempo or moving the pitch slider doesn't change scratch in vdj either, but changing the key does.

KEYlock should also not affect if I control the track with my hand. Where is the logic.

I don't have to remember the pitch or key settings every time to make a scratch and be sure that the sound will be what it usually is.

Therefore, it is correctly done in Serato or MIXX.

Or add a setting, everyone will choose how the keylock should affect on scratch(hand control).

You could add & key 0 while_pressed to JOGWHEEL_TOUCH mapping on a controller

this does not work correctly because the hand has already pressed jogWheel, and pressing the button KEYlock changes the sound.

forces you to re-tear off your hand

It is by design so there's nothing to fix

Make a choice in setting. Many people think that it is correct as in Serato

So far you're the only one, so I wouldn't say many people

This is how it is implemented in Serato and other software. On the contrary, no one complained about other software, because it is logical! this is hand control! like real vinyl!

Real vinyl doesn't have key change...
