I have down loaded VDJ on to my MacBook Pro but cannot locate the system to use. What leads do I need to link into my mixer?

depends on the mixer, depends on the config, the audio Interface,
most cases it's plug & play [after possibly some audio config], but you'll have to elaborate on what you have in front of you.
