Topic: New Laptop for Rane One or Rev 7

Hi, it's upgrade times so wondering if anyone can advise if a laptop will be ok for these spinny platter controllers and for use with Stems please. I've hear the R1 and Rv7s with Stems have a heavier impact on the CPU so I'm looking at a Lenovo Workstation ThinkPad P50 i7-6700HQ 16GB 512GBSSD NVIDIA M1000M. looking at buying second hand as looking at the XMG website and apprently there is an issue with 'Modern Standby and related changes to power management architecture on laptops' - whatever that is.

I ise the Asus TUF F15. 40G.B ram, 2x M.2 drives, rtx3070, i7 processor. Its overkill,but should last beyond 5yrs. I have the Rane One too.
