After downloading a song from YouTube and converting it to mp3 then downloading it to a folder it says error when I load it on the deck in VirtualDj how can I fix this.

Probably not the best idea to download from Youtube..
But anyways, perhaps the mp3 converter made some errors.
What full error message text are you seeing in VirtualDJ?
But you dont have to convert to mp3 to play them in VDJ. They play fine as they are

I have been doing it for years go to YouTube..play a song then save the url...then paste in mp3 converter..it will only download as mp3 or 4..it plays fine in media but when I pull it up in my download folder and set it on deck it reads error...Any suggestions

It depends on what the error message actually says.
What exactly does it say in VirtualDJ..
"file can not be found" ? Or an actual decoder error?
and if a decoder error, open the file in VDJ Tag editor, and look at very bottom what it says.

have MacBook Pro m1 pro and sometimes virtual DJ closes it self when im playing a file what can I do. sometimes closed and sometime not.
