Topic: Exclude the drums when keyshift?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey, the FX for a stem only is very helpful for me.
It’s very musically to make drumrolls without influence the other Stems.
Very often I use the Keyshift.
Is it possible to exclude the drums-Stem from the native keyshifting? Are there commands in VdjScript? I need an easy way to preserve the tuning and quality of a Songs Original drums.
To keyshift and after this pitch the drumstem back isn’t an option because sounds bad.
I had success running the same song in sync on left and right deck and cross fading just the drum stems to right deck. Than left deck (now containing just the musical stems) can be shifted even -5 or +5 without disturbing the original drum quality (which is running on right deck untouched)
That sounds great BUT
for daily use it’s much to complicated.
I would need a “DrumXclue” Button
(could make it myself if I knew how)
Can You help me?

In fact you can apply effect to any stem you want so that pitch the Bass+Instru+vocal only is possible
effect_stems MeloVocal & effect_stems Bass & effect_active pitch

won't touch Kick and Hihat and make pitch (effect) apply everything else

Does the Pitch effect has the same Quality as the native Keyshift?
