Not possible to change color on column currently ..
If you color songs, you can show a color code column thought.

Ok, if I only want the name of the selected column to be another color, e.g 'artist'. Is that editable?

You can color individual songs, and show color as column in browser..
Thats how far coloring goes

There is no other coloring

Ok how do you mean? e.g Say I use browsed_file_color. Can I somehow color specific properties in the song? like 'artist' in red for example?

The song as a whole can be colored. Not parts

Ok, just to be sure. There's no way to change the chevron up/arrow icon that indicates which column is selected either?

Might if you create skin with your own icons... cant remember top of my head, but think that icon is also picked up from https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Skin%20CustomIcons.html

But no idea why, arrow up down seems like the most useful indicator
