hey, try to map my midi keyboard to make "tone play"
$keycue 0 ? hot_cue 17 & set $keycue 1 : hot_cue 17 & key 0 (or 1, 2, 3, like the midi keyboard)
key cue 0 = didnt choose yet the cue i want to play with
key cue 1 = ready to play.. now do the command
also mapped a button for "delete hot_cue 17 & set $keycue 0"
when i playing i find that the first hit is not correct pitch. if it sposed to be +3 key it will be 2.8 key and then the other hits will be 3.
try to do the same with 2 button, one for key one for hot_cue works find, thats mean that i have to set "delay" between the key change & the hot_cue
didnt got a way to set timer to work, didnt found i way to fix the key problem.
even if i will fix it maybe the right way is to fix the algorithm issue.
i did try it in other setups like "ddj-xp1" and computer keyboard. same result.
* another question for the same script
if i want to share this script when it ready, how can i make it to be easy for all the midi keyboards?
if i want to share another script for tone play that i made, but with musical scale not like the regular that virtual provid how can i do it?
(musical scale tone play means pad 1 = A note (0 key), pad 2 = B note (+2 key), pad 3 = C note (+3 key), pad 4 = D note (+5 note) and continue....

btw: this bug doesnt happend if i moving from +key to nevermind -key. only when you go up.
