Topic: Assign Filter control on Numark N4

I'm pretty new to modifying the controls in VDJ 2020 (or any other version), but wondered if anyone could tell me how to modify a control knob on the Numark N4 to operate the filter?
I'm thinking possibly the sample 2 volume button or similar on each deck.

Basically, the filter controls on the standard interface are great, but difficult to use with a touchpad, so I wanted to map a control knob for each deck to operate the filter.

Could anyone give me a bit of a guide how to do this please, before I throw my controller out of the window!

I can't figure out the mapping of the dial you suggested, but here is an example with eq_low & shift

shift ? filter : eq_low

is shift pressed? YES do the filter : NO do the bass
