Topic: skips to new song when turning on autoplay

Hi,

Occasionally I will turn off autoplay and do a transition myself.

On a couple of occasions, when I have turned autoplay back on, it immediately skips to a new song (no transition or anything, just skips to another song). The currently playing song is part of the playlist.

Most times it just continues playing the current song and queues the next in the list to play next. Why does it immediately skip to another song sometimes?

Also, I am using VirtualDJ 8.3
 
Perhaps the song that was playing already passed the point where automix would mix out?
 
Hmm... Maybe... Didn't think it was that late in the song, but I do have some custom transitions that come early. I'll have to remember more details if it happens again.
 
Might make sense to still do a proper transition then instead of just skipping though.
 
I'm not sure what you mean. What's improper? Did you think I was skipping the song?
