Discussion about Slid3R

So much to say about this pad page, but I'm away from my machine so I'll update later. But this lets you trial beat aware fx sweeps and with a bit of help from me you can have a full padpage of custom (ones you've discovered) fx sweeps.

Many thanks to beta testers and also vdj developers for fixing things that didn't work quite right so quickly

*Edit*

Automated fx sliders, with max and min values.
Pad 4 picks the beat duration [ on first go per deck press this once first, (it sets some variables, couldn't be avoided) after first go you don't HAVE to press. ]

Params 1 & 2 are your max and min values [which is which? it doesn't matter, they figure out which is biggest :D ]

Pad 1 is FX slot 1 slider 1 up
Pad 2 is FX slot 2 slider 1 up
Pad 3 is FX slot 3 slider 1 up
Pad 4 I've mentioned, sets beat duration from 1 beat to 16 beats
Pad 5 is FX slot 1 slider 1 down
Pad 6 is FX slot 2 slider 1 down
Pad 7 is FX slot 3 slider 1 down

8 is snap this will make the fx fire in time with the down beat [except when using 2 beat that will sync to 1st or 3rd beat [whatever's next]
with snap off you can fire at will

Shift pads, are like above but effect slider 2
shift pad 4 does color fx up
shift pad 8 does color fx down
[color fx will reset to 50%, color fx off]

Now here's the deal, as it is, it's a demo, a tool for you to find stuff you like,
One I've found is "Cut" fx, dial 2, 4 beats, 53% down to 34%
If you give me a specification like the line above, I can make that into a zero set up button, no farce the fx doesn't even have to be on a slot.

Go play!

Tried it again with video
One I've found is "Keystone" fx, Whide range, 4 beats or 8 beats depending on bpm, 21% down to 81%
maybe a third final state in addition to "as is" and "off" would be "as it was at start" - remember the initial state

so keep fx on but reset slider to value before the sweep engaged?

i was thinking to reset slider & fx state at end
but yes an initial value before the sweep engage may be usefull too
both make sense depending on situations
