My Pioneer S9 works great with virtual dj on my mac, but fails on my dell laptop. The message I keep getting is ASIO driver fails. My firmware is up to date at 1.08 for hardware. What suggestions can fix this?

Have you tried to re-install the ASIO drivers ?
did you get any issue during installation, any error ?
There is a chance some other application taking exclusive control of the S9 sound card (some ASIO depend on WASAPI to work properly), so you can try to check the "Sounds" in Windows and make sure the S9 is not the default playback/recording device.
