Or is there a simple effect I can download like scrolltext 2. Worked great in VDJ7 but all the text is upside down in version 8.2

No I didn't try it. It seams like a learning curve to understand. I just want something I already know tonight or simple steps

If you need it tonight, just go back to VDJ 7 temporary, and you will do it fine

Ok, I'm sorry to hear that, maybe somebody else can help you, so far they didn't fix that problem with VDJ 8 text

TellyVisuals doesn't really have a huge learning curve. and speed adjustment for scrolling text and customizing it on the fly in TellyVisuals is really easy. I use it all the time for adding birthdays and whatnot.
