Topic: Script for fader plz

I'm trying to use one key to crossfade to either directions. For instance If the crossfader is at deck 1 when i press the assign key the crossfader will move to deck 2 and the same key should move the crossfader back to deck 1.
Auto crossfade does this but if the crossfader should already move from deck 1 even slightly it will go back to deck 1 rather than over to deck 2. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Perhaps something like this ..
param_bigger 50% crossfader ? auto_crossfade 0%  : auto_crossfade 100%
 
It works. But if the fader is already at 50% it sends crossfader over to deck 2 all the time even if thats where its coming from. Thanks for your helping.
 
You can try something like this then:

param_bigger 60% crossfader ? auto_crossfade 0% : param_smaller 40% crossfader ?auto_crossfade 100% : nothing

This will leave a dead area between 40% and 60% where no action will be performed
Of course you can tweak the numbers as you like
 
i first setup my account and was asked to pick a dj name: ViZionZ ProJect, why is it that after clearing my cashe and coming back it's like i don't exist and have to put in a new account....not cool. ViZionZ ProJect is my moniker and everything is listed by that name on my digital id. please merge these accounts and also i used my product key on that account and it won't allow me to use it on this one. so i am deprived the content that i want from you. please fix this for me so i can continue what i started. if i get no response to this i will start calling you. i am very grateful for any help

Thats the thing tho. Action must be at 50%. I tweaked the numbers but crossfader still goes to one side when fader is @ 50%. How about this, How do i make the crossfader go to whichever deck is active by using the same key?

I sometimes use Control+PageUp and Control+PageDown for the crossfader in some situations. I suppose you need it mapped to a button instead of the kb?
 
Yes. I found a solution. Deck 1 pfl ? crossfader 0% : crossfader 100%. assign this script to a key. It will send the fader to deck that's active.
