Great news it now has independent mic channels.

the duel usb will be the norm from now on. My ddj-sz feels so dated with the lower end models all getting duel usb now

It's only ever use if you hot swap with another DJ or have a backup laptop connected at all times.

Personally I prefer the USB memory stick plugin on the RX or MCX8000

Eh? Mic 1 and 2 still use the main mixer channels (like the SX2), and mic 3 only has a level control.

I noticed Pioneer's blurb says that you can "tweak EQs and apply FX to all three Mics independently". How, if mic 3 only has level?

I see the SX3 is going for $999 US on a lot of sites, but the SX2 is still going for around $900+. lol No one in their right mind will pay full price for a new SX2 when the SX3 is right around the corner for only a few bucks more.

Since many will look at purchasing a DDJ-SX-3, I am looking at purchasing one as well.
But I dont care for Serato and I am wondering what type of support Virtual DJ/Atomix will be or already is providing for this controller. SInce I have a license I dont think I need to purchase another but wondering. Is there a Skin created for it yet? I am thinking I don't need the skin right away. Thanks

The controller was only announced 3 days ago. What magic do you think happens around here.

Controller support will likely come one the hardware guys have a unit to map from.

Skin support- likely never unless a user creates it.

for only a hundret bucks more you can also get the ddj 1000 which is much better in my oppinon.

You can adjust the 3rd mic within a utility. You can also adjust the compression and add reverb effects to all 3 mics using the utility.

when virtual dj is mapping DDJSX3

English is not your primary language?

Guys, i need help connecting DDJ SX3 with my Mac. any help would be appreciate it. thanks,

Wait until its supported. Or use Rekordbox.

Any estimate date for the mappings to be available for VDJ PRO ?

Unless something comes up that will require some software implementation, support for DDJ-SX3 will come within this month

i don't understand what is going on with VD tech team. its been 3 months Sx3 out in the market. How hard for them to even make a beta version so at least we can try it and give them feed back. its been a month i bought controller and its been sitting around waiting for VD mapper. Any time line would be helpful.
